Create new collection
A collection is basically a public landing page with an interactive video that is used to collect video or text responses from your customers.
Let's get started!
You can create a new collection from your dashboard. Just click on the +New Collection button.
A new pop-up window will open.
Give your new collection a name and click the Create button.
Good! You are now in the Creator section. This is where you create your video and design your collection.
Step 1: Create a video message
Collection Type
In the collection type dropdown, you can choose between 3 types:
- Discovery: ask your customers questions about their motivations and pains.
- Feedback: request product feedback.
- Testimonials: request video testimonials.
Write your script
You can write your script in the notes section to help you record your video.
Create your video
Record or upload a video message. The maximum length of a video is 2 minutes. The upload limit is 300 MB per file.
Once you have created your video, if you're happy with it, just click the That's a wrap button to go to step 2.
You can also click the Start again button if you are not satisfied.
Step 2: Design your collection page
Preview
On the right side you will find the Preview. Here's what your collection page will look like once it's published.
Text content
On the left side, fill in the header, description, and question fields. Please note that you can ask up to 3 questions.
Button type
Select your button type. You can give the option for your customers to reply via video, text or both.
When your collection page is ready, click Next.
Step 3: Design your thank you page
This is how your thank you page will look like by default.
You can customize:
- the title
- the message
If you don't want to display a thank you GIF, just uncheck the box to hide it.
Click Next to proceed to the final step.
Step 4: Publish your collection
By default, we collect respondent's name and email.
Click Publish. That's it! Your collection page is live!
You will see a confirmation pop-up window with your collection page link.
Copy this link and send it to your customers to start getting responses!
